Live, Dance and Laugh

Happy Sunday all!
I wanted to share a card I worked on this week.  I actually used a stamp set on this one!  I really love creating with stamps and this is a set from Prickley Pear.  They also sell dies as well to go with it.  This set is called Flowers Clear Stamp Set. The card is 5x5.  First I cut a circle in the lower right corner then I airbrushed the background.  I took the circle I cut and stamped the sentiment in black then airbrushed it in yellow and taped it to the back of cut circle.  I stamped around the cut circle with the flower circle and colored the flowers.  Next I cut the flowers out, stamped them and colored them.  I cut half a tree out of a Memory Box tree die and pop dotted the flowers and a few leaves into place from Die-namics and Poppystamps dies. I stamped the musical notes onto background before placing tree. Then added the bird nest flower to tree. I popped up the background piece onto yellow embossed cardstock. Just a reminder!!  I'm giving away 4 prizes for my blogaversary.  I would love to have some new followers!!!! Check out the post just above to enter your name.  Thank you.

Love Is All You Need

Hello there,
Thought I would share a card I made a while back.  I bought some new Memory Box stencils and one of them has the word Love with a frame around it.  So I thought I would make a Valentine card.  I decided to dig in my stash and I found an image on canvas from Crafty Secrets called Romance.  I stenciled the Love Frame with TH barn red and used a second Memory Box stencil called Texture and stenciled in a few areas in soot black.  Then I fussy cut around the outside of Love stencil and added the tab on left side Attached to front of card then added the canvas image, Memory box die heart flourish and added little heart and arrow then stamped sentiment. The background DP is Echo Park Your's Truly.  I love how it turned out!  And just a reminder I'm giving away 4 prizes for my first year blogging!  I would love to have some new followers too! You're How Old?

Hello there,

Thought I would share a birthday card I made for my husband's son.  Guy cards are always challenging for me to do.  I've had this stamp set from Mark's Finest Paper's for a while so I thought I would use it.  The stamp set is called Trip To Lancaster.  I tried to use a sketch but it didn't seem to work.  I didn't want a lot of fussiness on it. I colored the tree and fence with the marker's then stamped it and stamped the horse and buggy with Memento black ink.  Then stamped sentiment.  Very easy!

What I used on this card:
DP: Swagger by Fancy Pants
Spellbinders Nesties Wonky Rectangles
Waxy Flaxy &Pearls: CTMH
Tim Holtz Distress markers: vintage photo, crushed olive, peeled paint
Verafine vintage photo ink
