Steampunk spells Vintage Voyage Altered Book

Happy Friday!  Woo Hoo! Holiday Weekend.
Today I would like to share what I just finished.  It's made from one of those hollowed out books you can buy in most home decor stores but yes I found mine for .99 at Goodwill.  They are fun to alter and I just love Graphic 45's collection for Halloween called Steampunk Spells.  Everything I used to alter this project came from my stash with the exception of the actual paper collection, chipboard pieces and flowers.  I think I'm going to keep this one!  I love it.  Take a peek at the photos below.  Tried to give you a few close ups.  I am also entering this project in a few challenges this week as well; challenge #118 - Anything Goes challenge - Anything but a card challenge - Use your Initials - Bling and Twine Challenge #142 - 3 different types of embellis - brads, ribbon, flowers.

Ladies Diary Frame

Thought I would share another altered project.  I saw this frame at Goodwill and thought It would be perfect for Ladies Diary paper collection.  The frame is small measures 6x10.  It was $1.99 and was really dirty from sitting around in someone's house or maybe even a garage.  So first I cleaned it then decided on the center image then cut out lots of smaller pieces to fit the frame area.  Added the pen nib and rhinestones and a small  mirror, clock and diary page.  Topped it off with a bow.  I really like how this frame turned out!  Everything I added was already in my stash.  I am entering this project in a few challenges this week as follows:
